How does a non-surgical facelift work?
Exposed to sunlight and pollutants more than the rest of our body it is often the face that shows the most visible signs of aging, and a non-surgical facelift is an effective way to help treat many of the issues this causes.
From as early as 25 years old the levels of collagen in the body start to recede and it is collagen that is responsible for the smooth plumpness associated with young skin by helping to lock in moisture.
This gradual reduction in volume is matched by an increase in lines on the face that are caused by repeated movements such as smiling or frowning that deepen as the skin loses it elasticity.
Age spots can also occur from repeated sun exposure and the skin can appear to be ‘pulled down’ as gravity takes hold.
What conditions can a non-surgical facelift help?
As well as helping to hide the signs of age, a non-surgical facelift can also be used to target areas of your appearance that you might not be happy with. Aesthetic techniques such as dermal fillers can help to reshape the nose in a non-surgical rhinoplasty treatment.
A non-surgical facelift can help to tackle problems including:
- Eye bags
- Frown lines
- Jowls
- Marionette lines
- Crow’s feet
- Thinning lips
- Tear troughs
- Saggy neck
- Bumpy nose
Non-surgical facelifts offer a solution to tackle many of these issues in one session, with no need for surgery and the recovery period that would follow.
Fast and effective
A non-surgical facelift, or liquid facelift, combines techniques that are used to treat these issues with treatments being used in harmony to balance and rejuvenate the face.
- Treatment can take place with one hour
- Minimum downtime
- Largely pain-free
- Immediate results
How does a non-surgical facelift work?
A non-surgical facelift combines different methods used to tackle the signs of age including dermal fillers, lip fillers and anti-wrinkle treatments.
Dermal fillers are injections that contain hyaluronic acid, which is found naturally in the skin and attracts water to aid hydration. As part of a non-surgical facelift dermal fillers are injected into the skin to help trap moisture and increase volume and lift.
Dermal fillers can be used to bring added definition to cheeks, lift a saggy neck or jowls, and reduce the appearance of lines on the face.
Working in the same way but specifically targeted to the mouth area, lip fillers will bring definition to lips as well as boost volume. Thinning lips can be a common problem during the aging process and a non-surgical facelift can create lift and volume that looks natural.
Anti-wrinkle treatments see a medically approved toxin injected into a specific area to relax the muscles by blocking nerve signals. This works to stop the muscle contracting and helps to smooth out wrinkles.
In a non-surgical facelift these techniques will be used in harmony to create an all over effect that will leave the entire face looking rejuvenated to reveal a more youthful appearance.

What will I look like after treatment?
Before and after examples for a non-surgical facelift always need to be considered on a personal basis. However, patients can expect to see a more youthful look after treatment, where the face appears lifted and the skin seems smoother and younger.
Cheeks and lips will be more defined, where this is part of the treatment, and tired features should appear fresher. The whole face should appear rejuvenated.
